The Key Account Manager has the function to drive sustainable profitable sales & market share growth by identifying the customer needs & opportunities, identifying ways of serving the customer with our broad portfolio, establishing/building solid long term customer relationships, leading & coordinating activities and promoting/selling relevant solutions for targeted Pharma and Bio Pharma customers in Brazil.
Main responsibilities
• Responsible for establish strong relationship in target accounts, with all departments of the client, and translate critical customer information (needs/values) into opportunities for all businesses and move to the next stage of sales process
• Be the single-point of contact for purchase department
• Coordinate all activities in the field ( tech assistance program, field trials/days, CEC visits) with Sales Rep and technical department of the divisions for the selected accounts, promoting integration between Divisions and BUs and customer defined and in order to identify business opportunities
• Define and achieve sales target
• Establish appropriate business arrangements/contracts and negotiate price, within established guideline from Divisions and manage the negotiation of supply contracts with key and strategic accounts
• Agree and support implementation of optimum Supply chain solutions for customers (Lead-time, inventory, Supply network, etc.).
• Implement Global contract extension in the region
• Understand /help to lead our commercial strategy with channel partners (distributors, wholesalers, manufacturers' reps) to ensure all are aligned to meet our collective objectives, Managing Customer Relationships
Candidate Profile
• 5+ years of experience in sales
• 2+ years of experience in KA programs
• 3+ years of experience with Pharma industries
• Bachelor or Master degree in Pharmacy, Chemistry, Biochemistry or related fields
• Very Good internal / external relationship
• Ability to work outside the scope of the his job responsibilities
• Proven experience in Sales & Account Management
• Negotiation skills
• Advanced communication & presentation skills
• Advanced English level.
• Proficient in Word, Excel, Powerpoint.
• Ability to deal with basic financial concepts/processes (Pricing/Margin/Forecasting) and work with IT systems.
• Desirable Skills
• Good understanding Spanish
• Specialization or advanced studies in areas related with sales and marketing.
