ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
We're looking for an exceptional professional to be our Pedagogical Coordinator [Orientador(a) Pedagógico(a) - OP]. The role requires a strong background in an ESL educational environment, and ideally with international standards. Prior experience with traditional teaching is important, but not sufficient: the OP also needs to understand how to guide teachers and students much deeper into the learning funnel and through our educational evaluation stage. This requires a broad understanding of other disciplines ranging from teaching ESL whenever necessary, local program setup, to teachers recruitment, to parent meetings coordination, to cohort all educational analyses etc.
More specifically, you'll be responsible for the following challenges:
Ensure consistent and efficient execution of all functions across Pedagogical Department by working closely with teachers, students, parents, internal business partners and stakeholders to drive adoption and implementation of educational standards, processes and programs
Develop an in-depth understanding of our languages teaching products and services in order to support teachers and students with the best recommendations;
Lead all the educational projects from initiation through delivery;
Define and enforce broad, school-wide standards for the way new initiatives are scoped, designed and put into production;
Apply expert knowledge of pedagogical and/or educational areas to coordinate exceptional execution of teaching programs at the school;
Invest in your team's development, taking the time to know what inspires and motivate each person and committing to making work meaningful;
The OP will need to effectively manage our teaching team, and recruit to build out the team as necessary, in order to execute at a high level and achieve our goals.

Experiências:
BASIC REQUIREMENTS
Undergraduate degree in English Language Teaching or related areas required;
Fluency in English and Portuguese
Functional expertise: proven experience on ESL teaching and pedagogical coordination;
Prior people leadership and coordination experience required
Easy access to Itaim Bibi / Vila Olímpia region
E-learning knowledge
MS Office Package (especially PPT, XLS and DOC)
Outstanding interpersonal Skills
Dynamism and Creativity
Availability to work from Monday through Saturday, weekly
